HOME DECOR: GALLERY WALL

Good morning! Today I am switching it up from my normal fashion/beauty posts and sharing some home decor on my blog! I've been wanting to create a gallery wall in our house for a while, but was consumed in wedding planning and the holidays. Now I've finally had the time to do it! And seeing all of my wedding photos was a nice kick in the butt too; I couldn't wait to get them printed and hung! Here is the finished look!

I love these frames because they hold an 8x10 photo, and have a beveled mat around them. I feel like it makes them look so professional. I chose to do all of the photos in black and white so that they all looked uniform. Most of the photos are from our wedding. There is one from our honeymoon and one of our hands holding the key to our first house! Lastly, we couldn't forget pictures of our babies :-)

The table is actually an IKEA hack. It comes with the black iron legs and a glass top. In order to convert it to more of a 'farmhouse' look, we went to Home Depot and got some wood that measured 8" longer than the table to allow for a 4" overhang on each side. We stained it with about 3 coats, then we adhered it with this tough glue! The total project cost us about $50!

The lantern was part of our 'before' decor (pictures of the before posted below, eek!). The plant in the white pot and the clock are all from IKEA as well. The gold vase and large glass vase are both part of the Hearth and Hand line from Chip and Joanna Gaines. Her style is definitely my inspiration; I could watch Fixer Upper for hours! The eucalyptus is faux, so it'll last forever!

The wooden beads was an easy DIY project. I bought these wooden beads and strung them on some twine that I already had at home. I made the ends into fringe tassels. Total cost: $13!

The "Let's Stay Home" frame was another DIY project (kinda!). It's just this frame without the glass/divider and then a printable that I made on PowerPoint with the font 'Sweet Pea'. Let me know if you want it and I can email it to you! Total cost: $8!

The basket (similiar) underneath was also from the 'before' decor. I filled it with a fringe ivory blanket that is super soft and comes in so many colors! I added the '&' pillow on top for the finishing touch!

Now for the 'before/after' pictures *cringe* It was a mix of my old 'glam' style (hence the mirrored desk) and my transition into farmhouse style (my DIY chalkboard). It was definitely due for an upgrade!

Thanks for stopping by & checking out our gallery wall transformation! Make sure to subscribe for future updates!
