Happy Friday Eve!! Well technically today is my "Friday" because I'm off work tomorrow on PTO! My close friend, Megan, decided to have her Bachelorette Party here in Austin and she lands today at 4pm! I'm picking her up and we are going to grab dinner and drinks at a super cute restaurant downtown called Eberly. It's decorated like a blogger's dream on the inside! I can't wait to check it out! Anyways, the point of today's blog post is to share this red ruffle dress!
This dress is the red emoji girl come to life, am I right? It definitely gives me chacha vibes! I love that it ties so that you can really accentuate your waist! I like that because I have super wide hips! Child birth should be a breeze someday though, right? Lol
The sleeves are loose so they look similar to the trendy "bell sleeve" that everyone has been wearing lately! I also love the color of the dress; it definitely makes you stand out!
The Gucci purse is definitely a splurge but has already gotten SO much use since I got it on Christmas! I know it'll be a bag that I'll use for a lifetime and pass down to my daughter(s) someday! It can actually fit a lot and I love that you can wear it cross body and be hands free! Also, the color matches everything!
The shoes are old from Nordstrom Rack. I was actually contemplating even buying them that day, and I'm so grateful I did because I've worn them probably a hundred times over the years. They've held up well and they go with almost any outfit! They are a good way to dress up jeans too! I've linked a similar pair that are super affordable!
One of these days I'll master the "walking pose" that so many other bloggers do, lol! I wish you could have seen a video of my friend Amy & I trying to get these shots. I was walking so dramatic, slow and awkward! But hey, you get to see this cute dress in motion haha! Well- I am off to start this crazy Bachelorette weekend! Pray for me that I don't get sucked into too many shots!
